I came across a silhouette image of a man holding a surfboard and immediately fell in love with it. I decided then that I wanted a watercolor version of the photograph and it would be a woman with windswept hair instead. She seems contemplative, like I often am when I stand on the beach listening to the surf crashing on the shore. I really liked the results and this one hangs in the dining room. This piece is watercolor on canvas.
